Nails

After getting a manicure or pedicure, it’s important to follow these tips so your results last as long as possible.

1. Avoid Water:
After your treatment, avoid immersing your hands or feet in water for at least two hours so the polish can fully set.

2. Moisturize:
Additionally, keep your hands and feet moisturized after washing to maintain healthy skin and extend the life of your polish.

3. Protect Your Nails:
Furthermore, wear gloves during household chores or when using chemicals to prevent chipping.

4. Avoid Heat:
Try to avoid excessive heat and prolonged sunlight, as both may cause fading or discolouration.

5. Be Gentle:
Afterwards, treat your nails gently and avoid using them as tools to open or lift items.

6. Touch-Ups:
If small chips appear, simply touch them up with matching polish to maintain a neat finish.

7. Regular Maintenance:
Finally, schedule regular appointments to keep your nails in their best possible condition.

threading

Threading

Threading removes hair from the follicle, leaving pores open for a few hours. Because of this, the following aftercare is important:

1. Avoid Touching:
Avoid touching the treated area for 2–4 hours.

2. Avoid Products:
Additionally, avoid perfumed products and makeup for 2–4 hours.

3. Avoid Heat:
Furthermore, avoid sunbathing, steam rooms, tanning beds, hot baths or saunas for 24 hours.

4. No Swimming:
Finally, avoid swimming or spray tanning for 24–48 hours.

waxing

Waxing

A good post-wax routine reduces irritation and helps your skin settle. Here’s what we recommend:

1. Calm Your Skin:
Apply Aloe Vera or moisturiser with Tea Tree Oil to soothe and hydrate the area.

2. Avoid Gyms & Saunas:
Additionally, avoid gyms, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours, as heat can irritate open follicles.

3. Keep Cool:
Afterwards, take cool showers and avoid exfoliating for three days.
If underarms were waxed, avoid deodorant for 24 hours.

4. Exfoliate Later:
After three days, exfoliate gently to help prevent ingrown hairs.

5. Apply Moisturiser:
Following exfoliation, apply a nourishing moisturiser to keep the skin smooth.

6. Book Regularly:
Regular waxing helps reduce hair density and keeps results lasting longer.
